GRISSIN BON Spa was established in 1969 in S. Ilario d’Enza, near Parma, by the Bernardelli family who still runs it.
At the beginning, most of our goods were manufactured under private label, but since the 80’s our company was able to utilize its own brand, growing steadily over the years both in production and sales, and recently has reached significant earnings volume (66 million € in 2008).
75% of our production consists of breadsticks and toasts make up the remaining 25%.
Our high quality standards, advertising campaigns aimed at promoting our brand along with our attractive packaging have contributed to making Grissin Bon the undisputed leader in the market of “bread substitutes”.
The production facilities consist of:
• 2 plants in S. Ilario with 11 production lines (8 regular and 3 with double capacity), which employ more than 200 people;
• 1 plant near Ravenna, with 2 production lines and 40 workers
• 1 plant near Venice dedicated to the manufacture of the product ''Gongoli''.
Our company has the ISO 9001/2000, BRC, IFS (International Food Standard) Certification, and CCPB authorisation for organic products .
HACCP methodology is applied as well.
