“Gallo” is the No. 1 rice brand in Italy with over 23% of market share. Riso Gallo S.p.A. is a family-owned company established in 1856 in the North of Italy.

Today it is ruled by the 6th generation of the founding family. The factory is located in the Lombardy Region, in the middle of the North Italy rice fields. It is devoted to the production and packaging of the best Italian Risotto Rice Varieties: Arborio, Carnaroli and Vialone Nano, covering the Retail and the Food Service markets.

(Riso “Bello) , Croatia, Slovenia, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Thailand, Singapore, China, Brazil, Mexico, etc. It is the leading Risotto Rice brand in UK, France, Croatia, Spain, etc. Main products available for the Private Label market: the main Italian Risotto Rice varieties: Arborio, Carnaroli, Vialone Nano, Risotto Rice, Italian Brown rice (Wholegrain), 3 Grains Blend (an exclusive mix of Rice, Barley and Spelt), 3 Grains with Brown Rice (Rice, Kamut, Oats), Jasmine Rice, Basmati Rice.

Through its own R&D, Riso Gallo developed its exclusive technology to produce Risotto Pronto, a revolutionary product which allows to prepare an authentic Italian Risotto only adding water and with only 12 minutes cooking. No MSG, colorants, preservatives included. The latest products developed by “Gallo” are “Expresso Risotto” : a 2 Minutes Risotto available in different flavors. (Risotto Expresso al Pesto “Gallo” was considered one of the “Most Innovative Product” in last Anuga 2007 edition in Cologne (Germany). Other new products: “Rice Pasta” (gluten-free), Rice Cakes, Frozen Risotto (cooks in 6 minutes), “Carnaroli Gran Riserva” an 1 year aged Carnaroli Rice (best selection) packed in 1 kg. tins. “Rice Pasta”: gluten-free Spaghetti, Tagliatelle, Tortiglioni, Fusilli and Penne.
