The “Carra” company was founded early in the 20th century as a dairy, later converted to tomato processing in 1948 and finally to vegetable preserves production.
It produces for private label a wide range of sauces, first of all Pesto alla Genovese and other kinds of pesto; Italian pasta sauces as arrabbiata and puttanesca; tomato sauces; sauces for bruschetta and spreading sauces. It also produces side dishes, sweet and sour products.
Carra company is certified UNI EN ISO 9001:2000, BRC Global Standard-Food (Grade A) and IFS International Food Standard Version 4 (Higher level).
