“Gruppo Alimentare in Toscana” was created by the merger of Salumificio Bechelli S.p.A.
and Amiatasalumi S.r.l., producers of hams and salamis, cold cuts, fresh pasta and ready prepared fresh food, and it is the result of the experience and success built up in the food sector over the years by the two companies.
Recently, because they are well aware of both the need to adapt their processes to the evolving market, and of the strategic importance of food safety and quality, the companies in the group have embarked on a programme of radical technological innovation, as a result of which the group can now boast a coordinated logistic system, a system of automatic food
traceability, sterile white rooms and internal product development laboratories.
