Production:
Production of plastic houseware, kitchen articles, gardening articles, cleaning articles.
Utilplastic was established in 1969. The company resulted from the 6trasformation of another concern which was founded 10 years earlier by the partners family. At time, the first plastic materials were beind constructed; the Desidari family devoted its activity to the trasformation of these new materials, mainly catering for the sector of semi - processed articles.
Production was initially limited to brooms and a few ather household cleaning items, later it developed to include a wider range of articles such as buckets, basins, article for the kitchen and bathroom.
The current line of products includes dust trays with or without handle, waste - paper baskets, various types of basins, dish drainers, cutlery drainers and holders, colanders, brooms, window cleaning utensil, dustbins, toilette - brush sets, buckets, floor washing utensil, brushes, plant - pot trays and garden pots.
Utilplastic exports approximately 70% of its production mainly to EEC countries, eastern European countries, the former Soviet republics, some middle and far eastern countries, countries of the Persian Gulf anf of the Mediterranean basin, a few central African countries, central American and Caribbean countries, South America and North America.
Production is carried out in a factory which extends over an area of approximately 10.000 sm. Of which 4.000 are covered.
