A few Kilometers from the Sila, the green tableland in central Calabria, in a typical mountain ladscape, the secret recipes and the tastes of the local cooking have been handed down from father to son for centuries. Here, many years ago, Vincenzo Rota, last heir of generations of dressed pork makers produced, with artisan care and following old recipes, the typical hams of Calabria. And it’s here that his son Fernando carries on the family tradition producing with unchanged care the delicious San Vincenzo hams and pork products.
Continuity in preserving tradition, quality and natural preserving tecniques are still the keywords at "Salumificio San Vincenzo".
For our products we employ selected meat coming from the best national porks, which is eventually processed according to artisan methods. Each production step is strictly controlled.
Seasoning is absolutely natural and takes place in the pure air of the Sila, at over 1000 meters a.s.l. Juste like it used to be in the past.
