Sponges and accessories for body care, household and car cleaning.

We have been making sponges since the late 50s – Fulvio Martini tells us – after my father had learnt about foamed polyurethane, first introduced by Bayer at the Düsseldorf exhibition in 1956.
In the new factory built in 1969, our company, known at the time with the name of Martini Poliresine, processed polyurethane for several furnishing companies, in contact with the great names of Italian design.
Gradually, our company moved away from subcontracting and turned to the production of special products (supplying different sectors, from the household appliance industry to car makers) and convenience goods, applying to all into all of their activities the usual creativity and technological innovation.
From the 80s, Martini started offering complete and distinctive ranges of products, thanks to the ongoing collaboration with architects and designers, mostly Italian, who enabled us – continues Fulvio Martini – to design and introduce on the market products which, are perseived as a cut above, had that extra edge in terms of colours and practicality.
Today - concludes F. Martini – we are leaders in many of the sectors in which we operate and we trust to strenghten our position both on the Italian and on the European market, which can now be considered a local market in the Europe of 25.
