Assorted hard and soft nougats, chocolate covered hazelnuts, almonds and peanuts, marrons glacés, crunchy nougat with peanuts, almonds and hazelnuts.
The Oliviero industry borns at the beginning of the 20th century, when their ancestor making use of Irpinia’s natural products, started the nougat production.
Today nougat, widespread at first by country feasts, represents the main product in the Irpinia confectionary tradition.
Equally known the priest-chestnuts, so named from the color of monk’s gown assumed when the process of manufacture is finished.
Keepers of the teachings of their own ancestors, the Oliviers Industry has been able to unite the artisan tradition to the modern technology and has created a varions range of products to content all the tastes of customers: crumbly nougats, soft nougats, almond brittle, nut chocolate, chocolate eggs (Easter eggs) in various tastes, etc…
