GELIT is a firm specilized in the production and marketing of crepes, snacks, and ready-to heat frozen food, which is located to 50 Km to the South of Rome, in the Agro Pontino. The firm’s technologically advanced productive plant has been suitably programmed to be able to meet a fast growing demand.
Estabilished in 1977, the firm has obtained the UNI EN ISO 9001 in 1988 and, since the end of 2001, has also obtained the UNI EN ISO 14001 environmental management certification. Quality - guaranteed by a certified corporate system - and the safeguard and improvement of the environment are major goals for GELIT that, in addition to having fully adjusted to the priciples of a sustainable development, is committed to the implementation of a proper environmental policy.
The extensive experience, gained in twenty-five years of activity, the advenced technology of its productive facilities, and the constantly growing consumption cause GELIT to turn into the privileged interlocutor of major Italian national brands, the main chains of the Large-scale Retail trade, and the Organized Retail Trade groups trhough “private label” schemes. Even the best door-to-door retailers have chosen GELIT, as the latter is able to meet all the requirements of its partners: from a perzonalization of the recipes, to the selection of the format, up to the packing typology.
